Marlene - that's odd about the bubbles - I've never had that happen on a creme brulee either. Here's the link to the pie recipe. I'll post it on the recipes later when I have a minute (I'm at work between patients right now). The only things that I did differently this time was to add the ganache layer between the filling and crust and I made the crust from Nutter Butter cookies.

For Mr. Kim’s birthday celebration, he requested Key Lime Cheesecake:

messy, but good

This is served with a sauce of pureed strawberries, butter, 10X and lime zest. I forgot to take a picture of it, but it is nice with the key lime.

Marlene - I just went to add the No Bake PB pie recipe to the recipe section and it's already there! I must have added it the last time that I made the pie and forgot!

And 'I' forgot to cook it. I love that stuff.

I made an unusual cake for a coworker’s birthday today. It was called a “Golden Angel Food Cake” – a good way to use up eggs leftover from making regular angel food cake, I thought.

Out of the oven:

This baked up really pretty and was a lot lighter than I expected it to be. The recipe called for whole wheat flour and no flavoring other than some orange zest. I used regular flour, some Penzey’s dried orange peel and orange extract.

I used the extract in the 7-Minute frosting, too:

Nice, tight crumb. This was a good cake.

That looks lovely Kim. How many lucky co-workers do you have? Who makes your cake?

Thank you, Madge! There are anywhere from 10-20 on any given day. I've only been here two birthdays and the first year was a grocery store cake and the last was homemade cupcakes. I love cake - even ordinary cake, so I was happy!

..and you make a cake for each of them? God love you. Making a cake is foreign territory for me. Well so is any baking.
