Oops - see it's already been sent. It's a good recipe - so two copies are better than one.

Matt - can you send me the parsnip soup with smoked salt if it's not too late?

Thanks Everyone! And, according to Madge, it is up on the LCBO site now.

If any of my Ontario members can get their hands on a copy of the current Autumn issue and would be willing to mail it to me in Calgary I'd be eternally grateful. All of the stores here are out of them. I did send my $10 to the LCBO for a subscription, but apparently they never cashed the cheque! We'll look into that when we get home, and hopefully get it straightened out in time for the holiday issue.

I'll bet I can find one here in Manitoulin - I'll let you know.

Marlene was Kerry able to find you a F&D? If not I'll check out the small town LCBOs on the way home tomorrow.

Apparently all gone from the LCBO here a while back - but one of the staff at the clinic is done with her copy and will bring it in tomorrow. I'll let you know if it shows up.

Nope - her's must have already hit the recycling but she's going to get her mother to check the very small LCBO in Kagawong in case there is still one there.

I'll keep working on it.

Ok - this is truly embarrassing - I'm driving around with one in the trunk of my car!

Anna put it there, along with some other give away magazines, for Patty in Buffalo the next time I'm down there because Patty gave her some nice mags from Wegmans.

So - I'll need the address again cause I'm not sure if I'll find it in my old e-mails.

A friend made me the Piri Piri Crab Cakes with Lime Mayonnaise from the latest (Spring 2013) F&D. I love crab cakes and am kind of picky about them and these were excellent. She mixed them up the night before and put them in the fridge overnight. I would have worried that the mix would get dry but they weren't at all. Served with an arugula salad. I will definitely be making these.

Like Piri Piri from South Africa?? mmmm

Please share more if you can. Crab Cakes are one of my favorites as well. In fact, I think crab is my favorite.

Or scallops.

Or Sea Bass.
Nope, crab.

I think.

It says in the recipe that Piri Piri is a Portuguese sauce. I don't know.

I'll post the recipe Dana.

The latest F&D has a recipe that interests me but I don't think I can get it past my partner.
"Boudin and Mushroom Sauce with Celeriac Creme" Despite it being quite a bit of work
I might make it for myself or canvass my friends to see if anyone would join me. That is HIGHLY unlikely.
Any CKers want to come for dinner? I will also supply the wine :D

Send him along. I just got the "you have to be kidding" look when I mentioned the dish.
