Thanks, James and Matthew. Cardamom is about three times the price of most ground spices here. I have a cake recipe that uses 2 Tbs of it. I will have to try it now since I have all this cardamom to grind.

But I would sure love some of Matthew's beautiful dessert tonight!
Food, glorious food! / Hot sausage and mustard!
While we're in the mood -- / Cold jelly and custard!
Pease pudding and saveloy! / What next is the question?
